Emergency braking system

The motor vehicle has a safety system which has a detection unit such that tyres of a motor vehicle (1) considered as irrecoverable are brake blockable. The safety system has a control unit for vehicle movement dynamics to which is allocated at least one anti-blocking system. The control unit for vehicle movement dynamics stabilizes the vehicle during travel by equalisation of handling signal values, and the detection unit deactivates at least the anti-blocking system in the event of limit value vehicle movement signal values being exceeded.
