Positioning device (10) comprises a longitudinal body (14) having protrusions (16) on one side which clamp with the corresponding crossbeams (18) of a palette (12). An independent claim is also included for a palette with the above positioning device. Preferred Features: The longitudinal body has triangular or trapezoidal cross-section. The protrusions are L-shaped with each long side (20) fixed to the body with its longitudinal extension running across the longitudinal axis of the body. The body is a hollow body.
