The hanger projection (64) includes circumferentially spaced hanger bearing surfaces (66,68). In a circumferential turbine engine shroud assembly (10,48) of shroud segments (10) and hangers (48), a shroud hanger (48) is assembled between a pair of adjacent shroud segments (10) separated by an axial interface (74).
