Mixed metal hydroxides, production and use thereof

Metal hydroxide mixture (A) comprises nickel, cobalt and aluminum metals, where (A) exists in the form of powder, that shows a core of nickel-cobalt hydroxide, whose surface is coated with amorphous aluminum hydroxide. Independent claims are also included for (1) the preparation of (A); and (2) use of (A) for the preparation of an base composition for an active material of positive electrodes of secondary battery, where (A) is transferred and mixed with a lithium compound.
