The climate control system (1) for especially a motor vehicles has a part of its housing constructed differently for various zone systems, whereby the assembly of a fan, evaporator, and heater is the same for the different zone systems. The housing can be varied in its construction for various versions and/or can be altered by add-on or exchange components. With a multi-zone configuration of the climate control system a bypass is provided in a section of the housing and bypasses the heater, whereby the bypass is formed in a section which is not used with a smaller zone system.
