Twist beam axle

The axle has X-shaped stress transferring units assuring direct transfer of transversal stress exerted on longitudinal arms (1, 2) to elastic articulations (11, 21) at a chassis of a motor vehicle, in a crossed manner. The transferring units extend from the articulations or their proximity to a zone of the arms situated between a torsionally flexible crosspiece (3) and ends of the arms. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle including a flexible wheel axle.
