Trailer coupling with ball joint

The coupling has a coupling ball (1150) and a ball holding bar connected with the ball. A storage component is fixed to a carrier part of a motor vehicle. The ball is pivoted to the component at its end such that the coupling is transferred from an operating position to a resting position and from resting position to the operating position. A ball joint transfers forces arising between the vehicle and a trailer in the operating position.
