Openable roof for a cabriolet

A movable roof (10) for a cabriolet vehicle, comprises a frame (12) which can be moved laterally with respect to the vehicle axis via a main swivel bearing (14). The bearing consists of primary and secondary sections. The primary section is fixed to the chassis while the secondary section is fixed to the frame. The two bearing sections can be connected via a quick fastening unit (22). The roof is made of eg textile, PVC or leather.
