Air outlet, in particular for a vehicle

The vent has an air outflow channel and operating units which regulate outflow direction and volume flow of airflow. The units are designed as sliding units, where one sliding unit (14) moves horizontal vanes (16), another unit (18) moves vertical vanes, and the third unit (22) moves a shutoff flap. The operating units are not disposed on the horizontal vane such that the horizontal vane completely covers the channel.
