Safety System for Persons

The occupant safety system for especially private motor vehicles has a front airbag (9,14) and at least one additional head airbag (8) forming a cushion section (8.1) between the head (6) of the occupant and seat headrest (10). The airbag system is controlled by signals delivered by sensors so that with an impact action on the vehicle on the front end at least the front airbag is activated, and with an impact action on the vehicle from the rear and/or side the head airbag is activated.
