Method for operating electrical loads in vehicles

The method involves switching a load that is switched on into an energy-saving mode after switching off the motor vehicle's ignition and the user of the motor vehicle manually activating an electrical load with the ignition switched off. The activation can be carried out using an activation element in the motor vehicle and/or using a remote controller.
