The invention relates to a seat system (100) for a vehicle, wherein at least a front seat (120) and a back seat (130) are attached to a common seat frame (110) that is movable with respect to a vehicles chassis (160). The invention comprises movement means (270; 270', 270") for moving the common seat frame (110) in a generally forward direction to facilitate ingress and egress to and from the vehicle, respectively.
