Exhaust gas purifying apparatus

An exhaust gas purification apparatus for purifying exhaust gas emitted from an engine supplied fuel from a fuel tank, includes a gas filter (14), disposed in an exhaust system (12) connected to the engine, for trapping particulates included in exhaust gas emitted from the engine (11); regenerating means (22) for regenerating the gas filter (14) by controlling fuel injection in the engine when a regenerating condition is met so that temperature of the exhaust gas is increased; measuring means (17) for measuring a fuel parameter related to an amount of fuel remaining in the fuel tank; and managing means (23, 32, 34) for managing the regenerating means (22) to adjust the fuel injection based on the fuel parameter measured by the fuel measuring means (17). With this apparatus, it is possible to avoid abnormal combustion caused by running out of gas during a filter regeneration process.
