The device has a hooking unit comprising a front plate (22) which is connected to a plate (20) and that forms a maintenance unit. The plate (22) is a common unit provided for the maintenance of an end head (24) of an upper bar (26) of a load retainer net or of a stand (30). A housing (50) is placed between the plate (20) and the front plate and cooperates with the end head of the upper bar of the retainer net. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a stand and load retainer net hooking device.
