Base cladding for a vehicle inner space with a textile decorative layer (10), especially a carpet, and profiled parts under the decoratve layer with fiber layer (3) on spaced supports (4,5). The spaced supports are channel shaped (sic) and at least two parallel spaced supports (4) are connected to at least one transverse spaced supports (5).
