Industrial truck with adjustable sheet holding device

The industrial truck, especially an order picking truck, has a sheet holding device (30) mounted on a support structure of the truck and adjustable between a stowed position and an in-use position. A spring element (42) is provided to exert a force on the sheet holding device during an adjustment of the sheet holding device at least along a section of the adjustment path in at least one and preferably both adjustment directions, and which has a force component acting in the adjustment direction. An independent claim is included for a writing base which comprises a sheet holding device and a mounting structure (36).
