Method and apparatus for the delivery of an emergency call

A personal emergency call unit senses at least three translation accelerations and rotation motion between two GPS (Global Positioning System) measurements to calculate and transmit current local position and motion for transmission with the emergency signal. Independent claims are included for procedures used by the emergency call unit.
