Crashbox for motor vehicles

The crash box (11) has first walls (14) that are manufactured by an extrusion technique and, in relation to their extrusion direction, are essentially arranged in the vehicle's direction of travel and second walls (15) that are manufactured by an extrusion technique and are arranged in a different direction from the first walls in relation to their extrusion direction.
