Pneumatic driver tire for tracked vehicle

A pneumatic drive tire (50) for tracked vehicles (10) is provided having an outer tread surface divided into two zones. The first tread zone (72) has a plurality of lugs (84) and grooves (100), the grooves may extend across the entire first zone creating soil discharge channels. The soil discharge channels preferably extend into the shoulder (88). The tire has a second tread zone (80) with no lugs or grooves.
