Airbag apparatus

In order to provide an airbag apparatus in which relative positioning of an airbag plate and an inflator in the thrust direction can be achieved, the bottom side of a column-shaped inflator 4 for injecting pressurized fluid is supported by a retainer 3, an edge of a bottom opening of an airbag body 6 is clamped between an airbag plate 5 and the retainer 3, simultaneously when the airbag plate 5 located on the upper side of the inflator 4 is engaged with the retainer 3, and means for positioning the inflator, such as tongue strips 5d, which come into abutment with the both ends of the inflator 4 are provided on the airbag plate 5.
