System for 3-D modelling of objects
DRIVE
February 1, 2006
The airship has a drive (12,14,20,22,80,82,88,90,92,94,96) which is designed so that the ship can travel at right angles to its longitudinal axis, to maintain a predetermined distance Y between the measuring device and the object being measured. The drive may comprise electronically-commutated DC motors. The 3D measuring system comprises two stereo cameras. An independent claim is included for a method of 3D modeling objects.
