Wheel lugs for fixation of vehicle wheels
DRIVE
January 25, 2006
The wheel bolt (15) fixes the wheel (16) on a wheel carrier (14) with bolt holes (10). The bolt has a widened head (18) and a shaft (19) to pass through a brake body (17), the wheel carrier and the wheel; a threaded sector (20), and a center sector with a spiral groove. Between the head and the threaded sector, there is a locking sector with a surface structure which makes a positive fit with the brake body when the bolt is inserted, to prevent it rotating.
