Soft top material

The waterproof material, especially for the roofs of convertible automobiles, has at least one covering layer (2) as a core between a transparent outer layers (1) and a woven carrier (3). The core is a compound material, with elastic hollow bodies (5) embedded within a matrix (4). The hollow bodies are round, and are filled with a gas.
