Exhaust gas recirculation device of internal combustion engine and method thereof

The device has an exhaust gas recirculation conduit (28) connected with a recirculation valve (28a), and having a heat exchanger (30) cooling an exhaust gas. The conduit has an injector (31) to inject water spray, from a storage reservoir (14) recovering water contained in the gas and obtained by condensation in a condenser of an engine, in the conduit. Injectors (25) inject water from the reservoir into combustion chambers (3). An independent claim is also included for a method of partial recirculation of exhaust gas in a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle.
