Vehicle with driving motor stopping unit
A vehicle driven by a driving motor including an engine (1) and a transmission (3) comprises a driving force control unit (DCU), and a driving motor stopping unit, the driving force control unit (DCU) allowing transmission of a creep driving force from the driving motor to driving wheels of the vehicle regardless of releasing an accelerator pedal under or equal to a predetermined vehicle speed when the transmission is selected to a running range, the driving force control unit (DCU) being adapted to switch the creep driving force between a strong condition and a weak creep condition (F_WCRPON) in accordance with depression of a brake pedal (BP), the strong condition including a strong creep condition (F_SCRPON) and a strong creep condition for driving (F_MSCRPON), the creep driving force being adjusted to be less in the strong creep condition for driving (F_MSCRPON) than in the strong creep condition (F_SCRPON), the driving motor stopping unit (DCU) enabling an automatic engine stop operation for automatically turning off the engine (1) while the vehicle stops, if the creep driving force is adjusted to be in the weak creep condition (F_WCRPON).
