The central shaft (3) outside has toothed sectors (10) and alternated smooth sectors (11), and runs inside a rotating locking element (12) which interior has a profile complementary to the outer profile of the shaft (3). When rotating the locking member (12) from an external knob (16) around the central shaft (3), it becomes locked at the desired axial position for taking up the necessary free movement in the assembly of the cables, for example, in a motor vehicle handbrake.",
