Apparatus and method to control an internal combustion engine

The device has a calculation module (30) calculating an integral of difference between theoretical and inlet air pressures of an engine. A correction module (32) corrects a prior positioning calibrated value of a regulator based on operating parameters of the engine. The module (32) has a modification module (36) modifying the corrected value by adding the integral to corrected value and a storage module (38) storing the modified value. An independent claim is also included for a method of regulating a pressure of a supercharged engine.
