The device has a canvas (12) unfolded vertically at the level of an upper part of backrests of front seats. Another canvas (13) is unfolded horizontally for covering space at rear of the seats. Draw bars (14, 15) are provided at free ends of respective canvases. The bar (14) is integrated to struts (16, 17) that assure unfolding of the canvas (12) by guiding and holding the bar. The struts are articulated relative to a cassette (11). An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle including a wind stop device.
