Piezoelectric drive for a fuel injector of a combustion engine and its use

The piezoelectric actuator (18a) is accommodated in a perforated sleeve (30a) inside a housing (12a). A baseplate (22a) in contact with the actuator carries an actuating rod (24a). There are two contact pins (26a) at the top extending through bores (28a) in a lid with a bimetal temperature compensation system (20a).
