Three attachment parts (41-43) respectively extending from an upper section, a lower section, and an intermediate section of a front edge of the curtain airbag (10) are attached to a front pillar. When the curtain airbag (10) is inflated, high tensions are generated at areas (41t-43t), which are rear extensions of the attachment parts (41-43), respectively, whereby the front region of the curtain airbag (10) forms a hammock-like structure.",
