Passenger-side airbag module

The unit (1) is designed as a housing accommodating a gas generator in an appropriate compartment (4) and the inflatable bag (3, 19) positioned inside a second compartment (5). The gas duct (9) is radial attached off center to the gas generator compartment (4). The folded airbag (3, 19) covers the outlet (20) of the gas duct (9) which is divided by several parallel positioned partitions forming bridges at the outlet (20).
