An anti-coking valve arrangement (10) having a valve body (52) that defines a passage for the flow of fluid medium. Valve seat (76) and valve member (66) positioned within the valve body (52) and function to control the flow of fluid medium. A first anti-coking device (100) is operably associated with the valve stem (60). A second anti-coking device (99) is operably associated with the bearing guide member (50). A third anti-coking device (112) is operably associated with the valve member (66) and the valve seat (76). A fourth anti-coking device (92) is operably associated with the valve stem (60) and the bearing guide (50). A fifth anti-coking device (88, 94) is operably associated with the bearing guide (50). A sixth anti-coking device (96) is operably associated between the valve stem (60) and the bearing guide (50).
