The unit has a rear axle with an assigned valve block (2), containing a central valve (4) for and ventilating pneumatic spring bellows (6) of the rear axle. A front axle has an assigned valve block (8) for and ventilating pneumatic spring bellows (10) of the front axle. The central valve of the rear axle has a valve block providing compressed air supply (12) for the pneumatic spring bellows of the rear axle and supplying a pressure connection (24) to the front axle valve block. An exhaust (26) is connected to the valve. The front axle valve block has a pneumatic connection (50) for a pneumatic-electric driver control. The pneumatic connection of the front axle is connected to a pressure output (52) of a shuttle valve mechanism (54). The valve block has a compressed air supply with the exhaust (26) and the other pressure opening (58) with a pneumatic spring bellows of the front axle in connection and assigned by a pressure opening (56) over the central valve to the rear axle. The shuttle valve mechanism connects to the pressure opening.
