Method and system for providing security for an aircraft during low altitude flight

The method involves determining current flight conditions, and performing an autonomous and global monitoring function of a low altitude flight of an aircraft using the current flight conditions by a monitoring unit (6) to preserve integrity of the aircraft during the flight. The function is performed to verify compatibility of flight path with flown over ground. Results of function are presented to an operator. An independent claim is also included for an aircraft comprising a device to secure a low altitude flight of the aircraft.
