The pressure characteristic of the central air flow, downstream of a non-return valve (8), is detected upon initial operation of the pressurized air supply unit or after a given operating life, to allow correction of the required air quantity in the load phase and/or the regeneration phase dependent on the ratios of the pressure differences per unit of time.",
