The present invention relates to a locking device design to act between a tyre and its respective wheel rim for dynamically balancing a tyred wheel, The locking device is arranged to be installed on a tyred-wheel maintenance machine having a support frame and a rotatable support (R) for a wheel rim (C) of a deflated tyred wheel (G) and locking-unlocking means for locking-unlocking the wheel rim (C) to and from the rotatable support (R). The locking device comprises holding belt (5) anchorable to the support frame and an engaging group (5a; 5b; 5c) designed removably to engage the tyre (P) of the deflated tyred wheel (G), while its respective wheel rim (C) is controllably angularly shifted.
