The present invention relates to a suspension mat 20 for a motor vehicle seat, comprising a plurality of suspension wires 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 and a plurality of plastic links 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, wherein the plastic links 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100 pin-joint the suspension wires 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 with each other. Further, the invention relates to a method for the production of such a suspension mat 20.
