"textContent": "The differential pressure upstream and downstream of a filter (1) which traps particulate matter contained in the exhaust gas of a diesel engine (20) is detected by a differential pressure sensor (3), and regeneration control is performed on the basis of this differential pressure. The detected value of the differential pressure sensor (3) is calibrated on the basis of the detected value of the differential pressure sensor (3) when the diesel engine (20) is not operative. By preventing calibration of the output value of the differential pressure sensor (3) from being performed unless at least one of a first condition, relating to the temperature when the diesel engine (20) ceases to operate, and a second condition, relating to the differential pressure when the diesel engine (20) ceases to operate, is satisfied, the output value of the differential pressure sensor (3) is calibrated accurately and by means of a simple constitution.",
