The device has a step-by-step motor (6) activated by a regulation unit (5) to actuate a fuel metering valve (7). The regulation unit evaluates fuel flow to be supplied to a turbine engine, during acceleration or deceleration of the engine, based on an optimal regulation rule. The rule is used for determining a main modulated flow according to modulated rotation speed of an engine combustor. An independent claim is also included for a method implemented by a device for limiting an increase of fuel flow of a turbine engine when a predetermined threshold is attained.
