In order for the child seat to be simple with respect to its structure and use but still a safe and comfortable transport means for a baby or alternatively a child much bigger than a baby, the body (2) and the basin-like inner part (3) comprise quick-fixing means (13 to 18) for locking the basin-like inner part (3) to a resting position, or alternatively to a sitting position in which it is more upright than in the resting position, and the body (2) comprises adjusting means (13) for adjusting the height of the neck-head support (27).",
