The device has sealing strips (1, 2) with a depression and rib, respectively, that form groove and tongue joint. The strips are interconnected with each other in the joint. Sealing lips (3.1, 3.2) are sealed on an outer sidewall of a tongue (2.1) when the tongue enters the groove. An electric/pneumatic switching strip of a clamp protection device is placed in a hollow chamber of each strip whose sidewalls are in the form of bellows.
