Roller bearing assembly having integrated means for the reduction of contact corrosion

The assembly has a bearing (2) rotating a journal (3) with respect to a frame. The bearing has inner rings fixed on journals outer wall and is axially immobilized on the wall by a spacer (19). The spacer is integrated with a fretting corrosion reduction unit having machines (29, 30) that are arranged for reducing spacers structural rigidity to bend the spacer, at the level of spacer`s lateral face, during rotation of the journal.
