Crankcase for combustion engine

The crankcase (1) has a divided crankshaft bearing (2) with bearing block (2a) extending between two crankcase walls (1a, 1b). The reinforcing element (3) has a support element (4) to rest on the bearing cap (2b). The support element can be varied in its position along the dividing plane (2c) of the divided bearing.
