Adjusting device with driving means

The adjusting device (40) for the adjusting of movable components (30,31) of a vehicle, especially a flap in the heating, ventilation and/or air conditioning system, has a drive (41) in the form of a reluctance stepper motor. A control unit (42) produces control signals to energize the reluctance stepper motor so that the motor's rotor is rotatable by a defined positive or negative angle. A locking gear (44) is connected to the stepper motor to prevent a force transmission from the movable component onto the stepper motor. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an air mixing unit for a heating, ventilation and/or air conditioning system of a motor vehicle with an adjusting device interacting with a flap; and (B) a use for an adjusting device which is to adjust a flap in a heating, ventilation and/or air conditioning system of a motor vehicle, or to adjust a seat, mirror, window or display.
