Power-assisted parking brake

External force parking brake comprises a hand activated brake and which is provided with an electrical connector for transfer of electrical power and or signals. The connector (28) is configured so that it prevents an activation of the emergency release arrangement when it is plugged in. At the same time, the connector can only be plugged back in when the emergency release arrangement has been activated.
