Rubber composition for tire tread

Rubber mixture (A), vulcanizable with sulfur and containing at least one diene rubber, for making the tread of a tire, especially for commercial vehicles. It contains, by weight of the rubber component, (a) 20-45% carbon black (CB) of high abrasion resistance; iodine adsorption 110-170 g/kg and dibutyl phthalate number 90-140 cm 3>/100 g, and (b) 3-50% of acetylene black (AB). An independent claim is also included for a tire, especially for a commercial vehicle, in which at least part of the tread is made from (A).
