Seating sensor having film switch and resistor element
DRIVE
September 28, 2005
Film switches (17-20) are arranged on a seated surface of a seat. A break-detecting resistor element (R2) and a current-limiting resistor element (R1) are arranged on the side of a connector that is arranged on the opposite side of the film switches (17-20) with respect to the seat. Thereby, wires (15,16) leading to the film switches (17-20) can be branched on the seated surface like octopus legs. In addition, the connecting portions of the break-detecting resistor element (R2) can be protected from causing stress concentration owing to repeatedly seating. Thus, the wires (15,16) can be protected from breaking at the connecting portions. The break-detecting resistor element (R2) may be restricted from causing change in resistance value, so that the seating sensor performance of the seating sensor can be maintained.
