DRIVE September 21, 2005
Source
The seat has a backrest (4) and a seat area (2) positioned on a support structure (10), and an armrest that is situated to a left side of the seat. The armrest is aligned parallel to a longitudinal direction of an aircraft. The seat area is pivoted upwards against the backrest and is connected to the armrest via a lever in a force-coupled manner. A gas pressure spring dampens the movement of the seat area and the armrest. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) an aircraft with a folding seat (B) a method for guiding passengers to a seat of an aircraft.
