Security arrangement for an auxiliary heating device

The safety device (1) for the heating system (3) is automatically switched off if the ignition (4) is switched off, and/or at least one door (5) of the vehicle is opened. The safety device controls the operating state of the heating system, dependent on the stated switching-off conditions. The system is automatically switched on again when the ignition is switched on again, and/or the vehicle engine is in operation.
