The support for motor vehicles, with an outer sleeve, at least one hollow bearing element (ii) and an inner sleeve (iii), additionally comprises at least one component (x) which has a variable geometry and is located between the outer sleeve and the bearing element. An independent claim is also included for an automobile or a truck with the proposed supports.
